Headstock and Sanding

The headstock, as I talked about in my guitar anatomy post, is at the tip of the guitar and hold the string trees. It is a crucial part of the guitar. I inlaid a piece of exotic wood into my headstock

I used a mill router bit that dove into the wood and I ran it along a fence I made. I then used chisels to fit the piece of wood into the mortice I created.

The sanding of the guitar is the most crucial point of making it look beautiful. There are different grits to go through, 80, 100, 150, 220. The finer the grit the higher the number.
